Madrid is for lovers

I'm in love with Madrid the way French talk about Paris, but there is no comparison, and I will prove it if you let me guide you to a little of the music, food, history, and culture of Spain, all within Madrid or places nearby.

I've lived here since I turned 18 and have a nice accent, I am told, "for a foreigner" but still mangle the Spanish. I've learned many fun things to do and places to go, but you are the boss about how we shall spend our time together.

I'm building some blog posts here on the possibility space, things of universal interest (food), and things I've enjoyed (music, art), or am curious to see or do.

Meanwhile, just tell me a few things you'd like to do or see, or need to avoid, after we book the date, and I will research our options. I'm sure we will discover wonderful shared interests. What's not to like?

There are a lot of great resources for travellers to Madrid for finding hotels, dining, transportaion, and entertainment. In fact, too many, and I'm sure you have your favourite travel sites and booking apps. But I'm putting together a few good links so that no one falls entirely through the cracks. They are, as always, a work in progress. ¡Que te vaya bien!
